Rockford Speedway - NSTC - Friday

 From day one Stan Burdick has been a part of Rockford Speedway's history, as he was honored during ribbon cutting ceremonies opening the 47th annual National Short Track Championships.

Johnny Robinson II # 99 Beloit, WI outclassed the field to win the All-American Sportsman 40-lap main event.

George Sparkman # 5 Loves Park. IL became a five-time champion in the American Short Trackers National Short Track Championships by claiming his third in a row feature win.

Mitch Garfield # 44 Gilberts, IL won the Weekly Warrior 47 lap main event after battling with Jerry Gille for several race ending laps.

Bobby Frisch, # 92  Beloit, Wis, took home the Sam’s Drive-In 40-lap Road Runner feature event after a dominating performance.

Kyle Stark, # 36 Waterloo, Wis captured his feature win for the Hornets.

Josh Thiering, # 02 South Beloit, IL drove to victory lane as he wins the Figure 8 NSTC.

Derek Dobbs, # 5 Rockton, IL shows race fans that he is #1 and the Rockford Speedway Figure 8 Champion for 2012.
